Impact bar

Flexid Impact Bars

Impact bars are designed for use at conveyor loading points to protect structures from the impact loads generated during material loading. The impact bars effectively absorb the shocks caused by falling material while simultaneously supporting the conveyor belt during the loading process.

The product range includes four different options based on two thickness alternatives and two standard lengths. The thicknesses of the impact bars are 50 mm and 75 mm, and the available standard lengths are 1220 mm and 1500 mm. These options allow the solution to be adapted to different conveyors and loading conditions.

The construction of the impact bars consists of three functional layers. The mounting rail of the bar is made of aluminum, which makes the structure lightweight yet durable. The shock-absorbing part is made of rubber, which absorbs the impact energy generated at the loading point and reduces the stress applied to the conveyor structures.

The sliding surface of the impact bar is made of HDPE plastic (High Density Polyethylene). This material has very low friction against the rubber belt, which reduces wear and helps the conveyor belt slide smoothly over the bar.

The use of impact bars improves the operational reliability of the conveyor at the loading point, protects the conveyor belt, and reduces wear on the structures. As a result, the service life of both the belt and other conveyor components is extended.

Our delivery also includes fastening hardware for mounting the impact bars, which facilitates and speeds up installation in the conveyor loading area.
